Role Overview:
The Snr Art Director will bolster our conceptual thinking, driving creative excellence and ensuring the seamless execution of creative projects. Reporting to the Creative Director, the Snr Art Director will support with the line management of the design team, guiding the team to produce exceptional design work that meets client goals and elevates our agency’s creative output. The Snr Art Director will be responsible for creating strong communication links and channels across the business bridging the Creative & Client Service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Provide direction and mentorship to the junior creative team, promoting a culture of creativity and collaboration.
- Project Leadership: Lead the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring brilliant creative outputs every time.
- Pitch Leadership: Act as a leader in the pitch process, supporting the Creative Director to amplify & lead the creative output.
- Creative Vision: Develop and execute innovative and conceptual creative solutions for a variety of media, including print, digital, and branding.
- Design Capabilities: Have a high level of design experience, to be able to bring concepts to life. Train and develop other creatives to understand best practices.
- Client Engagement: Demonstrate an ability to initiate and build strong client relationships, be able to pitch new concepts, and foster new client relationships.
- Quality Control: Ensure all creative outputs meet the highest standards of quality and align with brand guidelines.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with the Creative Director to ensure cohesive and integrated creative solutions across all projects. Ensure better cross learning across the creative team.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in graphic design and creative concepting, with a robust portfolio demonstrating a range of successful projects.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Mastery of design software and tools.
- Deep understanding of branding and visual communication principles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- A relevant degree in a creative subject.
Key Competencies:
- Innovative thinking and a strong creative vision.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to lead and inspire team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Digital-capable creatives are highly desirable.
- Experience in any 3D software, Figma or DaVinci Resolve would be a bonus but not mandatory.

Employee Package and Benefits
- Salary: £35k - £45k depending on experience.
- 27 days of holiday, excluding bank holidays and Christmas.
